Overview of Our Research
We are studing video contents communication systems now. Especially, there
are some study targets as follows. We pay attention to video structure and
the utilization of contents over the narrow-band or broad-band network
each. Considering the effect of communication, this is the point that both
of data architecture and communication methods are changed according to
the environment of used terminals to access the contents. So, the
accessibility and userbility are important issues.
Moreover, we had contributed to ISO/IEC, ITU-T MPEG standards and video
conference system, and are popularizing these systems for regional and
global information society. Now, data architecture and protocols based
on the communication of users' minds are reseaching. We had proposed the
hierarchical structure, scalability and extended the scalability concept.
As the one of video contents structures, we had proposed the data structure,
MSP: Multimedia Scalability Packages, which consist of the container, the
contents and the behavior information. When users require the contents
and the quality, our data would satisfiy them by sub-set information.
