On behalf of the organizing committee members, it is with great pleasure
that I welcome you to The
Image Electronics and Visual Computing Workshop 2014 (IEVC2014) which
will be held at Centara
Grand Beach Resort Samui, Koh Samui,
Thailand, on October 7-10, 2014. This workshop is the 4th
international academic event of The Image Electronics Engineers of Japan
(IIEEJ) based on the great
success of IEVC2007 in Cairns, Australia, IEVC2010 in Nice, France, and
IEVC2012 in Kuching, Malaysia.

The aim of the workshop is to bring together researchers, engineers,
developers, and students from
various fields in both academia and industry for discussing the latest
researches, standards, developments,
implementations and application systems in
all areas of image electronics and visual computing.
